- How do I apply through SourceHire?Two ways: apply directly to a posted job, or join the talent network so employers can reach out.
- What information is required to apply?A resume, your email, and two consents. Everything else is optional.
- What resume formats do you accept?PDF, DOCX, and plain text. Max 5MB per file.
Privacy & data
- How do I see what SourceHire stores about me?Visit /apply/me, enter your email, and we will send a one-time access link.
- How do I delete my account?Email privacy@sourceunlimited.co. We respond within 30 days.
- Can I change my consents after I apply?Yes. Visit /apply/me with your access link and update them.
- Who can see my application?Only the employer of the job you applied to, plus a small number of SourceHire reviewers for fraud and quality checks.
After applying
- How do I check the status of my application?Visit /apply/me with your access link to see status across all your applications.
- I haven't heard back. What do I do?After 14 days, follow up directly with the employer. SourceHire doesn't make hiring decisions on the employer's behalf.
- I was rejected. Can I get feedback?Some employers offer feedback, many don't. The talent network keeps you visible for future roles.
Managing your application

Priority Review subscription
- What is Priority Review?A monthly subscription that auto-features your applications across every qualifying job.
- How much does Priority Review cost?The current price is shown on the signup form. Whatever you sign up at is locked for the life of your subscription.
- When can I cancel my subscription?Anytime after your first month's charge has been processed.
- How do I cancel my subscription?Sign in, go to /applicant/subscription, click Cancel.
- Why can't I cancel before my first charge?It protects both you and us — once payment clears once, you can cancel freely.
- How do I change the card on file?Email support@sourcehire.app — self-service card swap is on the roadmap.
- What does "locked price" mean?The monthly price at signup is yours for life until you cancel.
- Do I need to opt in on every application?No. Once subscribed, every qualifying application is auto-flagged.
- What does "qualifying job" mean?A standard SourceHire job posting in the role categories Priority Review covers.
- Are subscription charges refundable?No. Cancellation stops future charges; the current period is not refunded.
- My subscription says "Past due" — what does that mean?A renewal charge failed. Email us to update the card and re-run.
- Can I have multiple subscriptions?No. One active subscription per applicant account.
Billing & invoices
- Where can I see my invoices?Sign in, go to /applicant/subscription — every charge has a linked invoice.
- Do you email monthly receipts?Not yet — invoices are in your account. Auto-receipts are on the roadmap.
- Do you charge sales tax?No tax is added to consumer subscriptions today. We may add it in the future.
- What if I think a charge is wrong?Email support first. Only escalate to a chargeback if we can't resolve it.
- Can I use a business or corporate card?Yes. Any valid Visa, Mastercard, Amex, or Discover works.
Account & profile
- Do I need an account to apply?Not for one-off applications. Creating an account lets you track and manage them.
- I forgot my password — how do I reset it?Use the "Forgot password" link on the login page. We email a reset link.
- Can I change the email on my account?Yes. Go to /applicant/profile and update it; you'll need to verify the new address.
- How do I delete my account entirely?Email support — we erase your data within 7 days.
- Where do I see all my applications?/applicant/applications shows every application you've submitted.
- What is the Discover page?A page that recommends jobs matched to your skill profile.
- What's in my inbox?Messages from recruiters and platform notifications.
Visibility
- How does SourceHire decide who recruiters see?Three factors: who applied, who fits, and who is a Priority subscriber.
- How do I improve my visibility without subscribing?Complete your profile, add real skills, write strong narrative answers.
- What is "fit score" and how is it calculated?A 0-100 score comparing your skill profile against a specific job's keyword bag.
- Why isn't my profile showing in any recruiter search?Usually a consent issue or a too-narrow profile.
Legal & terms
- Where can I find your Terms of Service?General ToS at /terms; Priority Review at /help/priority-review#terms; full subscriber ToS at /legal/subscription-terms.
- What is your Privacy Policy?/privacy covers what we collect, how we use it, who sees it, and your rights.
- Do I have to arbitrate disputes?Subscription terms include an arbitration clause with a small-claims and opt-out option.
- What cookies do you use?Essential session cookies only by default. Optional analytics can be enabled.
- What compliance frameworks does SourceHire follow?GDPR, CCPA, EEOC, ADA, and US state-level hiring laws.
Troubleshooting
- My Priority Review submission failed with an error.Take a screenshot, note the error text, and email support.
- My card was declined. What now?Try a different card or contact your bank. We don't see why it declined.
- I subscribed but didn't get a confirmation email.Check spam, verify the email is correct, and refresh /applicant.
- My new application doesn't show as Priority — why?Either the job isn't a qualifying job, or there's a delay. Check /applicant/applications.
- I can't log into my account.Try the password reset flow first. If that fails, contact support.
Security
- How is my card data protected?AES-256-GCM encryption at rest, key isolated, vault deleted on cancellation.
- How are my passwords stored?Bcrypt hashed with a per-password salt. Plaintext is never stored.
- Do you support two-factor authentication?Not yet for applicants. It's on the roadmap.
- How long do sessions last?Sessions are 30 days, with sliding renewal as long as you visit the site.
For employers

- How do I create an employer account?Visit /signup, choose Employer, and create an account with your work email.
- How do I post a job?From /admin/jobs/new. Add a title, description, location, salary band, and required consents.
- How much does SourceHire cost?Posting jobs is free during the beta. We will introduce paid plans with notice.
Managing applications
- How do I review applications?From /admin/candidates. Filter by job, status, or skill. PII is redacted in the list view.
- How do I search the talent network?From /admin/cohorts. Filter by skill, experience level, location, or seniority.
- Can I export candidate data?Yes, with audit logging. Exports are limited to candidates who consented to data export.
Compliance & privacy
- Are we GDPR compliant by using SourceHire?SourceHire provides the tooling, but the controller obligations remain with you. Sign the DPA at /legal/dpa.
- How do I run an EEO report?From /admin/eeo-report. Aggregated, anonymous demographic data only.
- Where is the audit log?/admin/audit shows every consent event, data access, export, and config change.
Source+ Earnings
- What is the Source+ Earnings program?A loyalty program that pays partner recruiters real cash — $0.15 to $0.30 per qualified application — funded from our investment-round partnership budget.
- When do I get paid?Monthly via ACH. Bank details collected on first payout. Quarterly bonuses paid at quarter close.
- What counts as a qualified application?A candidate who completed the full apply flow — resume + required consents + at least one narrative answer.
- How do tiers work?Your tier is set by the size of your talent community — total active opted-in candidates who came through your postings.
Integrations
- How do integrations work?Direct connectors for major HRIS / ATS / payroll providers + aggregator coverage via Merge and Finch + CSV upload as the universal fallback.
- Setting up WorkdayOAuth 2.0 with your tenant URL + a registered API client + a refresh token issued during onboarding.
- Merge.dev — the fastest way to support a customer who uses an HRIS we don't directly integrateOne Merge integration covers 30+ HRIS / ATS / payroll providers. The customer connects via Merge's hosted Link UI; we never see their credentials.
- CSV upload + exportDrop a CSV at /admin/integrations/csv. Headers auto-detected. Works for any HRIS we don't have a direct integration with.
- Webhook receiversInbound events from connected providers land at /api/webhooks/[provider]. Signatures are verified per-provider; replays are deduplicated by payload hash.
