Offerrole Sales Partners are independent contractors who introduce employers to our applicant tracking system.

You get a personal referral link. An employer who lands on Offerrole through that link and creates an account is attributed to you. From then on, every processed Priority Review payment on that employer's job postings accrues 35% to you, for as long as the account keeps producing revenue and you remain a partner in good standing.

There is no salary, no hourly wage, no quota and no set hours. You decide whether, when and how to work. Compensation is commission on results only — this is a 1099 independent-contractor arrangement, not employment.

Everything you earn appears in a ledger on your dashboard, one line per payment, as it happens.

Go to /partners/join. There are three ways in:

I'm new — give your full legal name, email and a password of at least 10 characters. We email you a 6-digit code to confirm the address.

I applied on Offerrole before — enter the same email you applied with. We email a 6-digit code to that inbox; you do not need your old password. Your candidate account and partner account get linked, which also means your security questions can be built from your own application history.

I already have a partner account — sign in with your email and password.

After the identity step you land on your dashboard, where onboarding continues: sign the agreement, complete your W-9, then a short walkthrough of the program.

Four steps, all self-serve:

1 · Verify your email — a 6-digit code, valid for 15 minutes. If it does not arrive, use the Resend button on the code screen.

2 · Sign the Independent Sales Partner Agreement — read it in full at /partners/agreement, then type your legal name on the dashboard. That is your electronic signature against a specific version of the document.

Signing also generates your security questions. They are shown exactly once, immediately after signing. Copy or download them then — they are what unlock payout changes if you ever sign in from an unfamiliar location.

3 · Complete your W-9 — legal name, entity type, address and taxpayer ID. Required before your first payout; your ID number is encrypted the moment you submit it.

4 · Finish the walkthrough — five short screens covering what you're selling, who buys it, exactly how commission is computed, an earnings estimator built on live platform numbers, and the conduct rules. You can replay it any time from your dashboard.

Your referral link becomes visible when all four are done.

Codes are 6 digits, valid for 15 minutes, and allow 5 wrong attempts before you need a fresh one.

If nothing arrives:

Check your spam or promotions folder. Our mail is sent from an @offerrole.com address.

Use the Resend code button on the code screen. It issues a new code and invalidates the old one. You can resend a few times before a short cooldown kicks in.

Check the address you typed. A typo in the email is the most common cause — go back and re-enter it.

If your old mailbox is genuinely gone, use the recovery options at /partners/recover: upload the resume you applied with, or answer questions about your application history. A person reviews those within 24–48 hours.

Your link looks like offerrole.com/partners/r/sp-xxxxxxxxxx and appears at the top of your dashboard with a copy button, once onboarding is complete.

When someone opens it, we set a first-touch attribution cookie in their browser that lasts 90 days, then send them to the employer signup page. If they create an employer account at any point in that window — same browser — the account is attributed to you.

The code in the link is not a secret. It appears in every URL you share, so treat it as public. It cannot be used to sign in to your account or to see any of your data.

First touch wins. If a browser already carries a partner cookie, a later partner link does not overwrite it. The first partner whose link that person opened keeps the claim.

The window is 90 days. The cookie expires after that. Someone who clicks your link and signs up four months later is not attributed to you.

One employer, one partner, forever. Attribution is written once, when the employer account is created, and is unique per account. It is not re-evaluated later and does not expire — an employer attributed to you in March still earns you commission years later, as long as you remain an active partner.

Attribution happens at account creation, not at first purchase. The employer has to actually create an Offerrole account while carrying your cookie. Sending someone a link they open on their phone and then signing up on a work laptop breaks the chain — the cookie lives in one browser.

Same-browser caveat. Private/incognito windows, cookie-clearing extensions and "reject all" consent choices can all drop the cookie. For high-value introductions, ask the employer to sign up in the same session in which they open your link.

You must be active when the account is created. A referral is only written for partners whose account status is active — that is, onboarding complete.

Your dashboard has a link builder. Pick or type a source label — linkedin, email, event, newsletter, a client name — and it produces a tagged version of your link, for example:

The tag is recorded alongside the referral when the employer signs up, and your dashboard shows a breakdown of referrals and revenue by source. Attribution behaves exactly the same as an untagged link; the tag only tells you where the person came from.

Source labels are limited to letters, numbers, dashes and underscores (up to 32 characters) and are lower-cased. Anything else is ignored, and the referral is still attributed to you — a malformed tag never costs you credit.

Self-referral is blocked. If the employer account is created with the same email address as your partner account, no referral is written. This is checked automatically at signup.

Existing customers are off-limits. Sending an employer who already has an Offerrole account through your link — or asking one to make a second account — is a conduct violation under §6 of the agreement. It voids the related commissions and can end the partnership.

The program pays for genuinely new business. If you are unsure whether an employer already uses Offerrole, ask them, or raise a support request from your dashboard before you invest time in the introduction.

Commission comes from one source: Priority Review purchases.

Priority Review is a paid option applicants can buy to put their application at the front of a recruiter's queue. When an applicant buys it on a job posted by an employer attributed to you, and that payment is processed (not pending, not failed, not refunded), 35% of the payment amount accrues to you.

What this means in practice: you are not selling a subscription to the employer. Employers post jobs on Offerrole for free. Your commission comes from applicant purchases on those postings — so the employers worth introducing are the ones who hire continuously and at volume, because more live postings mean more applicants and more purchases.

Three things do not earn commission: employer signups on their own (an account that never posts produces nothing), job postings on their own (a posting nobody applies to produces nothing), and payments that fail or are refunded.

35% is the standard rate and it is stored on your partner account, not hard-coded into the payout calculation.

Every ledger row records the rate that applied at the moment it accrued. That means a rate change can never rewrite your history: commissions already accrued keep the rate they were accrued at, whatever happens later.

Under §10 of the agreement, program terms can be amended prospectively with 14 days' notice. Continuing to participate after the effective date is acceptance. If a change ever affects your rate, you will see the new rate on your dashboard and the old accruals will still show the old one.

The ledger on your dashboard has one row per qualifying payment. Nothing is ever silently recalculated in place.

Date — when the commission accrued. Payment — the full amount the applicant paid. Your share — your percentage of that payment, rounded down to the cent. Status — one of three:

*accrued* — earned and counting toward your next payout, not yet paid. *paid* — included in a payout that has gone out. *reversed* — the underlying payment was refunded or found fraudulent, so the commission was removed. Reversals are a deliberate action on a specific row, never a bulk recompute.

The four tiles above the ledger summarise it: employers referred, how many of those are producing revenue, your accrued (unpaid) balance, and everything paid to date.

Work through this in order:

Is the employer in your referral count? The "Employers referred" tile counts attributed accounts. If it is zero, the attribution never landed — most often the employer signed up in a different browser from the one that opened your link, or more than 90 days later.

Have they posted a job? An account with no live postings cannot generate applicant purchases.

Has anyone bought Priority Review on those postings? This is the actual revenue event. A busy posting with no purchases pays nothing.

Was the payment processed? Pending and failed payments never accrue.

Was the payment after the attribution date? Only payments processed after the employer was attributed to you count.

Your ledger updates whenever you load the dashboard — there is no overnight batch. If you can answer yes to all of the above and the row still is not there, raise a support request from your dashboard with the employer name and the approximate date; the team can trace it.

Payouts run weekly, by ACH direct deposit to the bank account you save on your dashboard.

Minimum balance: $50. If your accrued balance is under $50 when a run happens it rolls forward — nothing is lost, it just waits for the next run.

No holding period. Commission that accrues this week is payable in the next weekly run. There is no waiting window between a customer payment and your commission on it becoming payable.

Before the first payout you need: a verified email address, a signed agreement, a completed W-9, and saved bank details.

Payouts are gross. Nothing is withheld — see the tax articles.

Open the Direct deposit section of your dashboard and enter the account holder name, routing number (9 digits), account number and account type.

How it is stored. The routing and account numbers are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they touch the database. The plain columns hold only your name, the bank label and the last four digits. Staff and admin screens can never display the full number, and the endpoint never echoes your numbers back to you — not even to you. If you forget which account is on file, check the last four; to change it, type the whole number again.

Changing it from an unfamiliar location. If you sign in from an IP address your account has never used, that session is flagged. It works normally for everything except payout changes, which require your security questions first. That is the safeguard that stops someone who gets hold of your password from redirecting your money.

Email verification is always required, however your account was unlocked. Money movement demands mailbox proof.

Commission follows the money. If an applicant's payment is refunded, reversed, disputed or found fraudulent before its commission has been paid to you, that commission is removed — the ledger row moves to *reversed*.

Commission that has already been paid out is not taken back. There is no holding period on payouts, so a refund that lands after you were paid is absorbed by the company, not by you.

Refunds never create a negative balance, are never netted against what you earn later, and are never invoiced to you.

Nothing is withheld. Every dollar arrives gross. Income tax and self-employment tax (Social Security + Medicare, currently 15.3% on net self-employment earnings) are yours to pay.

Form 1099-NEC goes to you and the IRS each January if we paid you $600 or more during the calendar year. Under $600 we do not file one — but the income is still taxable and still yours to report.

Because nothing is withheld, the IRS generally expects quarterly estimated payments (Form 1040-ES) once you expect to owe $1,000 or more for the year. Many partners set aside 25–30% of each payout for this. Your state may expect estimates too.

Your ledger is a permanent record of every accrual and payout — export it at tax time.

A W-9 tells us the legal name, entity type, address and taxpayer identification number to put on your 1099-NEC. It is required before your first payout — no W-9, no payment.

You complete it on your dashboard. You need:

Legal name — exactly as it appears on your tax return. Business name — only if you operate under one. Entity type — individual/sole proprietor, single-member LLC, partnership, C corp, S corp, or other. Address — where the 1099 gets mailed. Taxpayer ID — your SSN, or an EIN if you have one for your business.

How it is protected. Your taxpayer ID is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage, using the same key management as our payment-card store. What staff can see is the last four digits and nothing more. It is decrypted only when a 1099 is actually being prepared.

Non-U.S. partners need a W-8 series form instead. Complete what you can and raise a support request from your dashboard — the team will send the right form.

You can update your W-9 at any time; the new details apply to future filings.

When you sign the agreement we generate a small set of security questions — where a candidate account is linked, they are drawn from your own application history, which is information an attacker would not have.

They are displayed exactly once, right after signing, with copy and download buttons. Only hashed answers are stored, so nobody at Offerrole can look them up or tell you what they are.

What they gate. Nothing about ordinary use. They are required only when you try to change payout details from a session flagged as coming from an unfamiliar IP address.

If you lost them. You can still sign in, see your ledger and get paid to the account already on file. To change payout details you will need a session from a location your account recognises — or raise a support request from your dashboard, where a person can verify your identity and reset them. That review takes 24–48 hours by design; it is the step that protects your money.

Your session was flagged because it came from an IP address this account has never signed in from before.

A flagged session is not restricted in general — you can read everything, and payouts to the account already on file continue normally. The only blocked action is changing payout details, which needs your security answers first.

Common innocent causes: travelling, a new phone or laptop, switching between home and office networks, a VPN, or a mobile network that rotates addresses.

Answer the questions once and that session is cleared. Your first-ever session is never flagged — it is what establishes the known address.

Start at /partners/recover. Three routes, in order of speed:

Upload the resume you applied with. We compare it against the document on your candidate record. A strong match is strong evidence you are who you say you are.

Answer questions about your application history — which roles you applied to, when you first applied. Only the real account holder knows these.

Open a support ticket. The last rung, for cases the first two cannot settle. Describe the situation and a person reviews it.

All three land in the same review queue. Reviews take 24–48 hours and the decision arrives by email. If approved, you get a link that lets you set a new password.

Password resets are deliberately not instant-by-email-alone for this program, because a partner account controls where money is sent.

A few specifics, since this account controls money:

Separate identity. Partner accounts are not employer console accounts and not candidate accounts. A partner session cannot open the admin console or read candidate personal data. Signing in as a partner grants exactly the partner surface, nothing else.

Sessions. The cookie holds 32 random bytes; only its hash is stored server-side. Sessions last 30 days and can be ended by signing out.

Passwords are at least 10 characters and hashed with bcrypt. We cannot read yours.

Rate limits apply to signing in, signing up, verifying codes, resending codes, saving payout details and support requests, so an attacker cannot grind through guesses.

Payout changes from an unrecognised location need your security answers.

If you think someone else has your password, change it and raise a support request from your dashboard immediately.

From §6 of the agreement. Breaking these voids related commissions and can end the partnership:

No unsolicited bulk messaging. Cold-email blasts and scraped lists are out, and so is anything that breaks anti-spam law where you or the recipient are.

Describe yourself accurately. You are an "independent Offerrole sales partner". Never "I work for Offerrole", never just "Offerrole", never anything implying you are an employee or can speak for the company.

No earnings or outcome claims we have not published. Do not promise an employer a number of applicants, a time-to-hire, or a result. Do not quote your own earnings as what someone else can expect.

No bidding on Offerrole trademarks in paid search, and no registering confusingly similar domains.

No self-referrals, and no routing existing Offerrole customers through your link.

No unpublished inducements. You cannot offer an employer a discount, rebate or side arrangement Offerrole has not published.

If something you want to try is not obviously covered, ask from your dashboard before you do it.

Safe, true and checkable:

Employers post jobs on Offerrole at no cost — there is no subscription to sign.

Applications arrive structured: resumes parsed into hiring-relevant fields, with a full audit of what was extracted and why.

The platform is consent-first — candidates grant specific, revocable consents, and every action is recorded to an append-only ledger. That is the compliance story, and it is real.

AI assists, humans decide. Nothing on Offerrole auto-rejects an applicant.

Employers can try it with one posting and keep whatever they use elsewhere. Nothing is exclusive.

What to avoid: any promise about how many applicants a posting will attract, how fast a role will fill, cost savings versus another product, or what anyone will earn. Those are outcome claims, and they are exactly what §6 prohibits. The toolkit on your dashboard has messages already written to these lines.

Your commission comes from applicant purchases on live postings. So the question is never "how big is this company" — it is how many roles do they have open, how often, and do those roles attract a lot of applicants.

That points to employers hiring continuously: operations and logistics, healthcare and care staffing, hospitality, retail and warehouse management, field services, and staffing agencies of any size — an agency with 15 live roles beats a prestigious firm hiring twice a year.

Weak fits: companies that hire once or twice a year, highly specialised roles with a handful of applicants each, and anyone already committed to an ATS they have just paid for.

The best signal costs nothing to check — look at whether they currently have several jobs posted anywhere. If they do, they have the problem Offerrole solves.

Yes. Your dashboard has a Replay the walkthrough link that reopens all five screens, including the earnings estimator.

The estimator is worth returning to. It multiplies your own assumptions — how many employers you expect to onboard, and how many roles they typically have open — by Offerrole's measured revenue per active job over the last 30 days, then applies your commission rate. The platform figures move with real hiring activity, so the estimate today is not the estimate from three months ago.

It is an estimate, not a promise. Your actual commission is always computed from actual processed payments, and every one of them shows up in your ledger.

Either side can terminate at any time, with or without cause, by written notice — §7 of the agreement.

What you keep. Commissions accrued through the termination date, on payments already processed, are paid on the normal weekly schedule. You do not forfeit a balance by leaving.

What stops. No new commission accrues on payments processed after termination, even from employers you referred earlier. The commission stream is tied to active participation, not to the referral alone.

To close your account, raise a support request from your dashboard. Confidentiality and tax obligations survive termination.

From your dashboard, open Get help and describe what you need. The request goes into the partner support queue with your account already attached.

That attachment is the point. A question emailed from an address the team cannot tie to a partner account is the one request they cannot safely answer — anything about your ledger, your payouts or your bank details needs to be provably you. Sending it from inside your signed-in session proves it.

Expect a reply within 24–48 hours, to your account email address.

If you cannot sign in at all, that is a different path: use /partners/recover, which routes into the same queue with identity evidence attached.

Include specifics — an employer name, a date, an amount, what you expected to see. Vague reports take a round trip to clarify.
