What does "locked price" mean?
The monthly price at signup is yours for life until you cancel.
When you sign up for Priority Review, the monthly price displayed on the form at that exact moment is written into your subscription record as your locked rate. We bill that rate every month, regardless of what the current platform-wide price is.
This is the same pattern Spotify, Netflix, and other subscription services use for grandfathered pricing. If we later raise the public price from $12 to $15 a month, you keep paying $12 as long as you don't cancel.
If you cancel and resubscribe later, you'll get the price current at the time of your resubscription — there's no way to "freeze" the old price across a cancellation.
