What is "fit score" and how is it calculated?
A 0-100 score comparing your skill profile against a specific job's keyword bag.
Fit score is a 0-100 number that estimates how well your skill profile aligns with a specific job's requirements. The calculation: we extract keywords from the job's title, qualifications, responsibilities, and description (with the title weighted highest), then compare those keywords against your declared skills, profile skills, current role, and current employer. A high score means many of the job's keywords appear in your profile.
Fit score is a heuristic, not a prediction. A 90% fit doesn't mean you'll get hired; a 40% fit doesn't mean you'll be rejected. It's an attention-allocation tool, nothing more.
