Two notes can appear at the top of My earnings:
"Earnings are paused for your account." We can switch earning off for one account — for example while we look into unusual activity — and the note gives the reason when there is one. "The Earnings Program is paused for everyone right now." The program itself is paused.
Either way: nothing new is earned while it is paused, and payments made in that time never earn later, even after it is switched back on. Everything earned before the pause stays yours and can still be paid out under the terms.
When earning is switched back on, it counts from that moment. A pause for everyone, like any change to the program, comes with 30 days' notice unless the law or stopping abuse needs it sooner. Questions about a pause on your account: reply to any program e-mail.
Your My earnings page shows every payment that earned, what is clearing and what you can be paid. Reply to any program e-mail and a person will look into anything that looks wrong.
