Priority Review
A transparent, paid visibility feature that places your application on a separate priority shortlist for the hiring team — without changing your merit score.
At a glance
- Your application is featured first on a separate priority shortlist the hiring team sees.
- Your merit score and completeness ranking are completely unchanged.
- You gain access to application improvement suggestions based on what this role prioritizes.
- The hiring team is informed that your placement is sponsored. Full transparency, always.
How Priority Review works
When you activate Priority Review, your application is routed to a dedicated sponsored shortlist that hiring teams can review independently of the standard applicant queue. Your profile card is marked as a featured application so reviewers know your placement was sponsored — we never misrepresent your standing.
You must score above the 30th percentile among applicants for the same role to qualify. This threshold exists to protect hiring teams from low-signal submissions and to ensure the priority channel delivers real value to recruiters.
What Priority Review does not do
Priority Review is a visibility layer only. It does not:
- Alter your completeness score or any algorithmic ranking
- Move your application into the standard applicant list ahead of others
- Guarantee an interview, callback, or hiring decision
- Hide or suppress any other candidate's application
Every candidate on the standard list is evaluated on exactly the same criteria as before. Priority Review adds a separate channel — it does not tilt the existing one.
Application improvement suggestions
Once Priority Review is active, SourceHire unlocks a set of targeted suggestions specific to this role. These are derived from the structured profile data already on file and from the signals the hiring team has indicated matter most for the position — skills, certifications, portfolio evidence, and so on.
Suggestions are offered as guidance, not guarantees. Acting on them may increase your completeness score over time, but Priority Review itself is not contingent on making any changes.
How SourceHire keeps it fair
We built Priority Review around a strict set of principles:
- 1Full disclosure to hiring teams. Recruiters and hiring managers can always see which applications arrived through the sponsored channel. There is no concealed mixing with organic applicants.
- 2Eligibility threshold. Only candidates above the 30th percentile qualify. This keeps the priority channel credible and useful for hiring teams — and meaningful for you.
- 3One activation per application. You can activate Priority Review once for a given application. Repeated purchases on the same role are not permitted.
- 4Merit scoring is ring-fenced. The system that computes completeness scores, match scores, and percentile rankings has no connection to the payments layer. A purchase cannot influence any algorithmic output.
- 5Hiring teams opt in. Employers choose whether to enable the priority channel for a role when they list it. If a hiring team has not enabled it, Priority Review is not offered for that position.
What you’re paying for
Priority Review is a one-time, non-refundable fee per activation. The price is shown on the payment form at the moment you check out, and you pay it once — there is no subscription, no recurring charge, and no ongoing card on file.
- Single charge, per activation. You pay once at checkout and your application is placed on the priority shortlist for the role you applied to. There are no repeating charges of any kind.
- Card is retained only for chargeback and dispute handling. Your card details are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and permanently purged 60 days after the charge resolves, which covers the standard card-issuer dispute window.
- Boost add-ons are also one-time. Queue-boost purchases (moving your application to the top of the priority queue) and any resume-review add-ons are billed as separate one-time charges under the same terms.
- Nothing to cancel. Because there is no subscription, there is nothing to unsubscribe from. Your Priority Review placement stays active on the role it was purchased for until the hiring team finishes their review cycle.
Pricing and refunds
The price shown on the payment form at checkout is the total you pay. There are no hidden fees, no auto-renewal, no future charges.
Charges are non-refundable. Priority Review delivers its value the moment your application is placed on the priority shortlist, which happens as soon as payment is captured — refunds are not offered because the service has already been rendered by the time you would ask for one.
If you encounter a technical error that prevented activation after payment, please contact support@sourcehire.app and we will investigate promptly. Genuine activation failures are refunded in full.
Terms of Service
By purchasing Priority Review (or any Priority Review boost / add-on) you agree that:
- Priority Review is a one-time, non-refundable fee at the price shown on the payment form at checkout. There is no subscription, no recurring charge, and no auto-renewal.
- The charge appears on your card statement once, on or within one business day of the checkout timestamp shown on your receipt.
- Boost and add-on purchases — queue boosts, resume reviews, expedited turnaround, and any other Priority Review add-on — are also one-time, non-refundable charges billed under these same terms.
- Charges are non-refundable. The service is rendered at the moment of activation, before you would have an opportunity to request a refund. Genuine activation failures caused by a technical error on our side are refunded in full.
- Your card details are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and permanently purged 60 days after the charge resolves. This retention window exists solely to allow us to respond to card-issuer disputes and chargebacks; no card data is retained beyond that window.
- Priority Review is a visibility feature and does not constitute a guarantee of any interview, callback, offer, or other employment outcome.
- Your sponsored status will be disclosed to the hiring team reviewing your application.
- You must meet the eligibility threshold (above the 30th percentile among applicants for the same role) to qualify. SourceHire reserves the right to refund and void activations that do not meet eligibility requirements.
- SourceHire may modify or discontinue the Priority Review feature at any time. Activations already paid for will be honored through the hiring team's current review cycle for that role.
- At the moment of purchase we record the IP address, browser user-agent, billing address, and the exact text of these terms displayed to you. This authorization record is preserved on your receipt for the full card-issuer dispute window.
These terms apply to Priority Review specifically. SourceHire's full Terms of Service and Privacy Policy also apply.
