The Role
We are seeking a VP of Global Supply Chain Operations to own the end-to-end supply chain across planning, procurement, manufacturing coordination, and logistics. You will build a resilient, cost-efficient global supply network and lead a distributed operations organization against demanding cost and service targets.
What You’ll Do
● Supply Chain Strategy: Own end-to-end global supply chain strategy across planning, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics.
● Procurement: Lead strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and supplier performance across a global vendor base.
● Operations: Drive S&OP, inventory optimization, and fulfillment reliability against cost and service targets.
● Resilience: Build supply chain resilience — dual-sourcing, risk mitigation, and continuity planning.
● Cost & Margin: Deliver measurable cost-out and working-capital improvements.
● Leadership: Build and lead a global supply chain organization across multiple sites and regions.
What We’re Looking For
● Experience: 12+ years in supply chain, with 5+ years leading global operations at the Director/VP level.
● End-to-End: Command of planning, procurement, logistics, and manufacturing operations.
● Global Scope: Experience managing multi-region, multi-site supply networks.
● Analytical: Strong data-driven approach to S&OP, inventory, and cost management.
● Vendor Management: Proven strategic sourcing and supplier negotiation track record.
● Leadership: Experience building and scaling distributed operations teams.
● Education: Bachelor's in supply chain, engineering, or related; APICS/CSCP or MBA preferred.
Bonus Points
● Manufacturing: Background in industrial or manufacturing supply chains.
● Systems: Experience implementing ERP/planning systems (SAP, Oracle).
● Lean: Six Sigma / Lean certification.
● Global Trade: Experience with international logistics, tariffs, and trade compliance.
Compensation & Benefits
We believe in paying top-of-market rates for top-tier talent. The base salary range for this role is $335,000 to $450,000, with exact placement determined by your skills, years of experience, and interview performance.
