The Role
We are looking for a VP of Data & Analytics to build the enterprise data strategy and lead the teams and platforms that turn data into decisions. You will own data governance, analytics, and BI, and partner across the business to drive a data-driven culture.
What You’ll Do
● Data Strategy: Own the enterprise data and analytics strategy, roadmap, and platform investments.
● Analytics & BI: Lead business intelligence, analytics, and self-service reporting across the organization.
● Governance: Establish data governance, quality, and stewardship standards.
● Team Leadership: Build and lead data engineering, analytics, and data science teams.
● Business Partnering: Partner with functions to embed analytics into decisions and operations.
● Value Creation: Prioritize data initiatives that deliver measurable business value.
What We’re Looking For
● Experience: 10+ years in data / analytics, with 4+ years in leadership.
● Technical Breadth: Command of data platforms, analytics, BI, and governance.
● Team Building: Experience building and scaling data teams.
● Business Acumen: Ability to connect data initiatives to business outcomes.
● Analytical: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Communication: Ability to translate complex data into executive insight.
● Education: Bachelor's in a quantitative field; advanced degree a plus.
Bonus Points
● Modern Stack: Experience with modern data stacks (Snowflake, dbt, Looker/Power BI).
● Data Science: Experience leading ML / data science.
● Scaling: Experience building a data function from the ground up.
● Industry: Data leadership in the client's markets.
Compensation & Benefits
We believe in paying top-of-market rates for top-tier talent. The base salary range for this role is $345,000 to $460,000, with exact placement determined by your skills, years of experience, and interview performance.
