The Role
We are seeking a President of Corporate Development & M&A to lead the company's inorganic growth agenda—strategy, sourcing, diligence, execution, and integration. You will build the deal pipeline, lead negotiations, and own the value case from thesis through post-close integration.
What You’ll Do
● M&A Strategy: Own the corporate development strategy and inorganic growth roadmap.
● Deal Sourcing: Build and manage the pipeline of acquisitions, investments, and partnerships.
● Diligence & Execution: Lead diligence, valuation, negotiation, and deal execution end to end.
● Integration: Own post-merger integration and value capture against the deal thesis.
● Capital Strategy: Partner on capital allocation and portfolio strategy.
● Executive Alignment: Partner with the CEO, CFO, and board on deal strategy and outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
● Experience: 15+ years in corporate development, M&A, investment banking, or private equity.
● Deal Command: Proven track record leading and closing complex transactions at scale.
● Integration Expertise: Deep experience owning post-close integration and value capture.
● Leadership: Experience building and leading corporate development organizations.
● Strategic: Ability to set inorganic strategy and make portfolio trade-offs.
● Executive Presence: Board- and investor-ready communication.
● Education: Bachelor's required; MBA strongly preferred.
Bonus Points
● Cross-Border: Experience executing international and cross-border transactions.
● Carve-Outs: Experience with carve-outs, divestitures, and complex structures.
● Scaling: Experience building an M&A function from the ground up.
● Industry: Corporate development leadership in the client's markets.
Compensation & Benefits
We believe in paying top-of-market rates for top-tier talent. The base salary range for this role is $525,000 to $700,000, with exact placement determined by your skills, years of experience, and interview performance.
