The Role
We are looking for a results-driven Director of Sales to lead our distributed sales team and drive revenue growth. Whether you are an experienced Sales Manager ready for the next step or a seasoned Director looking for a new challenge, we have a spot for you. You will oversee the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing enterprise-level deals and managing client relationships.
What You’ll Do
• Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand our customer base and achieve strong revenue growth.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team, setting clear KPIs and fostering a culture of success.
• Pipeline Management: Oversee the sales pipeline, providing accurate forecasting and reporting to the executive leadership team.
• Client Acquisition: personally handle high-stakes negotiations and close major deals with enterprise clients looking for digital product and staffing solutions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing and Delivery teams to align sales strategies with our service offerings and staffing capabilities.
• Process Optimization: Refine sales processes, implement CRM best practices, and introduce tools to improve efficiency and conversion rates.
What We’re Looking For
• Experience: 5+ years of professional sales experience in the tech, staffing, or professional services industry (Level determined by interview performance).
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, IT staffing, or digital consulting landscape.
• Track Record: Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and driving revenue growth.
• Leadership: Experience managing sales teams, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency with modern CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools.
• Communication: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills, essential for a remote-first culture.
Bonus Points
Experience selling to CTOs, VPs of Engineering, or Product Leaders.
• Experience working in a fully remote or distributed team.
• An existing network of contacts in the technology or digital product space.
• Experience scaling a sales team from the ground up.
Compensation & Benefits
We believe in paying top-of-market rates for top-tier talent. The base salary range for this role is $250,000 to $275,000, +Commission, overrides and IC, with exact placement determined by your skills, years of experience, and interview performance.
