The Role
We are seeking a Director of Corporate Development to own the M&A pipeline and execution end to end. You will source and screen targets, lead diligence and valuation, negotiate deals, and partner on post-merger integration and value capture.
What You’ll Do
● M&A Pipeline: Own the M&A pipeline — sourcing, screening, and prioritizing targets.
● Deal Execution: Lead diligence, valuation, structuring, and negotiation.
● Financial Analysis: Build valuation models and investment cases for the board.
● Integration: Partner on post-merger integration planning and value capture.
● Strategy Alignment: Align the deal thesis with corporate strategy.
● Relationships: Manage bankers, advisors, and target relationships.
What We’re Looking For
● Experience: 8+ years in corporate development, investment banking, or private equity.
● Deal Track Record: Proven M&A execution across the deal lifecycle.
● Valuation: Advanced valuation and financial modeling.
● Diligence: Experience leading cross-functional diligence.
● Negotiation: Strong deal-structuring and negotiation skills.
● Strategy: Ability to connect deals to strategy.
● Education: Bachelor's in finance or related; MBA a plus.
Bonus Points
● Integration: Post-merger integration experience.
● Industry: Deal experience in the client's markets.
● Banking / PE: Top-tier banking or private equity background.
● Volume: High-volume deal-execution track record.
Compensation & Benefits
We believe in paying top-of-market rates for top-tier talent. The base salary range for this role is $325,000 to $400,000, with exact placement determined by your skills, years of experience, and interview performance.
