Position Overview
Role: Data Monetization & Partnerships Specialist
Location: Remote (United States)
Compensation: $140,000 / year
Type: 1099 Contract (Initial 12-month term; extendable or convertible to permanent full-time)

We are seeking an experienced, commercially driven Data Monetization Specialist to actively manage, distribute, and sell our proprietary, fully consented data tranches across multiple data exchanges, marketplaces, and clean rooms simultaneously.
This is an initial 12-month contract position on a 1099 basis, with strong potential for extension or conversion into a permanent, full-time W-2 role based on performance and pipeline growth. The ideal candidate understands the mechanics of data licensing, programmatic data sales, and the intricacies of alternative identifier (ID) graphs.
Key Responsibilities
Multi-Exchange Distribution: Manage the concurrent deployment and active syndication of consented data assets across multiple major data exchanges, marketplaces, and Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs).
Deal Execution & Structuring: Source, negotiate, and close high-value Data License Agreements (DLAs) with data brokers, ad tech platforms, and enterprise buyers.
Yield Optimization: Analyze pricing elasticity, volume, and fill rates across channels to optimize the per-profile or per-thousand (CPM) valuation of our data tranches.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure all data monetization practices strictly align with state and federal regulations (CCPA/CPRA, etc.) and maintain the highest standard of opt-in integrity.
Technical Onboarding: Partner with internal engineering teams to streamline data delivery, ingestion formatting, and synchronization pipelines with external partners.
Qualifications & Requirements
Industry Experience: 3–5+ years of direct experience in data monetization, ad tech, digital advertising infrastructure, or data broker partnerships.
Exchange Familiarity: Proven track record of successfully managing and selling data on platforms like LiveRamp, Snowflake Data Marketplace, Eyeota, Lotame, or similar environments.
Compliance Knowledge: Deep understanding of the modern privacy landscape, consented data frameworks, and compliance mechanisms.
Contractor Mindset: A self-starter who thrives in an autonomous, remote environment, equipped to establish and scale clean, repeatable monetization pipelines from day one.
Legal Status: Must be authorized to work in the US as an independent contractor (1099).
